NGC 1003: Mittelhelle Galaxie, erscheint ziemlich diffus. Stark elongiert etwa 4:1 O-W. Sie wird
nicht zur Mitte heller, sondern hat am NW-Rand einen Knoten und allgemein scheint der Westteil etwas
heller. Die Enden erscheinen ziemlich diffus.
NGC 1003: Moderately bright galaxy, appears pretty diffuse. Highly elongated about 4:1 E-W.
It does not get brighter to the middle, but has a knot at the NW rim and appears brighter in the
western part. The tips are pretty diffuse.
