IC 405: Extrem großer Nebel. Um AE Aur relativ hell, die Fahne richtung W ist deutlich dunkler und sehr kontrastarm. Sie besteht aus zwei parallelen Streifen. Zwischen der Fahne und AE Aur ist nur eine schmaler Nebelbalken als Verbindung. Der Teil um AE Aur ist komplexer strukturiert mit einigen Bögen.
IC 405: Extremely large nebula. Pretty bright around AE Aur, the area to the West is much darker and of very low contrast. It consists of two parallel stripes. Between the western area and AE Aur is only a thin nebula strip connecting both parts. The part around AE Aur has complex structures with several arcs.
