Messier 108: sehr helle Galaxie, deutlich strukturiert, in der Nähe des Zentrums steht ein mittelheller Stern. Die Galaxie ist von zahlreichen Knoten durchsetzt, es sind jedoch keine auffälligen Staubregionen zu erkennen. Die Elongation ist etwa 6:1 O-W. Insgesamt recht unregelmäßig, vergleichbar mit M 82.
Messier 108: Very bright galaxy with evident structure. A brighter star is close to the center, within the galaxy. The galaxy shows many knots but no obvious dark structures. The elongation is about 6:1 E-W. Comparable to M 82
